چکیده
Species diversity is widely recognised as an important trait of functioning and resilient ecosystem. Spatio-temporal patterns fish community structure in the Mechi River was studied based on stratified random survey, conducted between September 2018 April 2019. The survey at three different sampling stations seasons. For sampling, two cast nets sizes were used, one having large mesh size 0.5 cm, 3 m diameter 2 kg weight another 6 weight. In addition, drag net gill also used to collect samples. A total 1,772 fishes belonging 4 orders, 8 families, 16 genera 33 species documented. results from similarity percentage analysis indicated that, Schistura devdevi, Brachydanio rerio, Puntius sophore, Barilius barila, beveani terio most copious recorded River. One-way testing for space time variations that there a significant difference (R = 0.66, p<0.01) but no -0.0123, p>0.433). Canonical Correspondence Analysis hinted dissolved oxygen, water velocity pH have shown influence assemblage

The new River Water Quality Model no.1 introduced in the two accompanying papers by Shanahan et al. (2000) and Reichert et al. (2000) is comprehensive. Shanahan et al. (2000) introduced a six-step decision procedure to select the necessary model features for a certain application. This paper specifically addresses one of these steps, i.e. the selection of submodels of the comprehensive biochemi...
متن کاملRiver Water Quality Model No. 1: I. Modelling Approach
Successful river water quality modelling requires the specification of an appropriate model structure and process formulation. Both must be related to the compartment structure of running water ecosystems including their longitudinal, vertical, and lateral zonation patterns. Furthermore, the temporal variability of abiotic boundary conditions may be important and must be incorporated by an appr...

Prishtevka River Basin in the upper part is characterized by hilly - mountain terrain, while the side stretched towards the city of Pristina to the estuary of Sitnica River is characterized by field terrain. 1.5% of the catchment area is situated at an altitude above 1000 m, 33.9% from 1000 m to 800 m, 20.1% from 800 m to 700 m, 25.2% from 700 m to 600 m, and 19, 2% at an altitude below 600 m. ...
متن کاملSeasonal assessment of physicochemical parameters and evaluation of water quality of river Yamuna, India
The concentrations of toxic effluents released into freshwater aquatic environments are increasing day by day and affect the aquatic biota. The present study outlined the evaluation of physicochemical parameters such as water temperature, pH, dissolved oxygen (DO), biological oxygen demand (BOD), chemical oxygen demand (COD), phosphates (PO42--P), nitrates (NO3--N), electrical conductivity (EC)...
